The Fuss About Gus
We are repeatedly asked if our 74 850 Commando, which we call "Gus", is for sale. For some reason it has become a real crowd pleaser. So much so, it is now on display at the Shelburne Museum's Full Throttle exhibit for the 2009 summer months. Where did Gus come from? CBE Signature Norton: If you would like us to build a "Gus" for you, give us a ring. We're not exactly Colorado Norton Works, but we do OK in building affordable, reliable, and great performing bikes to enjoy on the road. And Gus is the bike most often asked about. We will be taking a limited number of commissioned builds for these bikes to construct during the winter months. We can either work with your bike or find a donor bike to get the project started.
